Zakia's Report

Name: Zakia Ali Class: JHS 3 Date: 15/12/16
Zakia is now in JHS 3 but here is an academic report based on her JHS 3 first term academic performance. She recorded an outstanding attendance during the first term and did not miss a day out of school recording 65 out of 65 of attendance.  She was diagnosed with dyslexia by Achimota Assessment Centre in Accra. She is a below average student with a lot of potentials in Sports. She is very respectful and calm.
ENGLISH
Zakia shown progress in the three examinations conducted by the Bosomtwe district educational unit. She scored 33%, 42% and 54% respectively. Although her progress is not too rapid, knowing her and her background with dyslexia, it gives us enough satisfaction of the progress she has made in this examination. Although she has completed basic education, she is still working on sentence construction and tenses. She had grade 9, 7 and 6 respectively in the first, second and third examinations. She is eager to improve and hopeful to transition to senior high school and do better in the subject. She had a total score of 129 score in the three examinations.
MATHEMATICS
Although mathematics is her favorite subject and given that she wants to be a bank manageress in the future, her passion for the subject motivates her to learning but this passion does not reflect in her marks. However, she improved in the examinations in her own capacity. She scored 27%, 41% and 43% in the three examinations. Unfortunately,her improvement in her own is not too good to compete with others. She had grade 9, 7, 7 in the three examinations. She had a total score of 111 in the three examinations.
SCIENCE
She scored 27%, 62% and 43% in this subject. She had grade 9, 4 and 7 respectively in the three examinations. She is a promising student, looking at her score in the second examination and she could have done better putting in the same effort as she did in the second exams into the third exam. She had a total score of 141 in the three examinations.
SOCIAL STUDIES
She performed better in social studies. She scored 40%, 60% and 74% in this subject.She had grade 7, 5 and 3 respectively in the three examinations. This performance is quiet encouraging. She had a total score of 174 in the three examinations.
ICT
She scored 30%, 63% and 57% grade 9, 4 and 5 respectively in the three examinations. Comparing this result to that of JHS 2 academic year she didn’t perform well in the subject. She had a total score of 150 in the three examinations. She had a total score of 150 in the three examinations.
RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EDUCATION
Although the subject is her strongest area of study and has performed well in the past academic years, sadly that cannot be said this time round her marks dropped significantly. She scored 57%, 59% and 57% with grades 5, 5 and 5 in all the three examinations. She had a total score of 173 in the three examinations.
GHANAIAN LANGUAGE
The Ghanaian language taught in her school is Asante Twi. Zakia’s mother tongue is Kusaal and she shows much strength in the learning of Asante Twi. She speaks the Twi very well but the same cannot be said about writing but she shown much progress this time round. She scored 70%, 62 and 57% with grades 3, 4 and 5 respectively. She declined in this subject looking at her performance pattern. She had a total score of 189 in the three examinations.
PRE-TECHNICAL SKILLS
One of her strongest area of study but that cannot be said with her performance in this subject. She scored 50%, 44% and 27% with grades 6, 7 and 9. Her performance dropped significantly and it is disappointing knowing how well she commanded this subject. She had a total score of 121 in the three examinations.
FRENCH
She performs averagely in this subject but her performance in the three examinations dropped as compared to last terms academic performance. She scored 45%, 58% and 48% with grades 7, 5 and 7 respectively in the three examinations. She had a total score of 151 in the three examinations.
GENERAL PROGRESS
Her results are alarming comparing her to other Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE candidates around Ghana. However, with her dyslexia background she has done well although she has declined in some subject areas as compared to last term’s academic report. GEIG provided her one on one tutoring session twice in every week after school to help her with English, Science, Maths and other subject areas she finds difficult in. We hoping she will excel in her BECE with the support giving her through the preparation periods before her examination. She is very active in sports and this academic year and term hosted a lot of sporting activities. She is captain of the girls’volleyball, football and basketball team.

Name: Bridget Akyeamah Class: 1 SCIENCE Date 18/07/17
She is in SHS 1 and here is an academic report based on her SHS 1 second term academic performance. She recorded good attendance and did not miss a class. She studies ten course subjects of which six are core and four electives. She is a boarding student and in house four. She is neat and takes part in house activities. She placed 13th as overall class position out of 34 students.
ENGLISH
She is part of the top students in her class when it comes to English language. She has excellent command over the language, a good writer and reader. She scored 60.9% with grade B3 and placed 14th out of 34 students.
CORE MATHEMATICS
She performed very well in Mathematics. It was her top highest score for both core and elective subjects. She had B2 with a total score 79% and placed 11th out of 34 students.
ELECTIVE  MATHEMATICS
She scored a total mark of 67%, placed 13 nd out of 34 students with B3 grade in the subject. This is one of her elective subjects.
INTEGRATED SCIENCE
She had a total score of 54% with grade C6 placing 20th out of 34 students. She is keen to improving on her performance.
SOCIAL STUDIES
She placed 8th out of 34 students with a total score of 63.3% and grade B3. This is a good performance but there is more room for improvement.
ICT
She loves ICT and spends much time studying and practising. She had a total score 72% with grade B2 and placed 21 st out of 34 students.. 
BIOLOGY
She scored D7 grade with a total mark of 53% and placed 19th out of 34 students. There is more room for improvement.
CHEMISTRY
With a total score of 56%, she placed 10 th out of 34 students with a C6 grade in the subject. She can do better.
PHYSICS
She had a total score of 50% with grade D7 placing 27th out of 34 students. More room for improvement.
GENERAL PROGRESS
She is a smart student but it’s evident from her results that science is not her field. She has the passion and desire to be a journalism. She performed much better in the reading and core subjects than in the elective subjects. She is very good in mathematics too. She needs career guidance and it will be best If she changes from general science to general science. She can much better if she sits up to learn.

Hamdallah is in SHS 2 and here is an academic report based on her SHS 2 second term performance. She recorded very good attendance during the second term. She is respectful, friendly, calm, well-behaved, sociable and hardworking. She scored a class average of 63.34% and placed 11th out of 35 students. She is the house prefect for Kamal house.
ENGLISH
She scored 61% with a C5 grade and placing 16th . She declined in the subject as compared to the previous term. She is curious to learning new things and has a strong interest to read.
CORE MATHEMATICS
There is room for improvement and she is keen to work towards improving in the subject. She scored 62% with a C5 grade and placed 25th out of 35.
ELECTIVE  MATHEMATICS
She has slightly improved in this subject. From 62% to 64% with C5 grade and placing14th . She is prepared to improve herself in the subject and she is on the right track.
INTEGRATED SCIENCE
Comparing last term’s performance to that of this term, she maintained the same score and grade for the subject. She scored 71% with a B3 grade. She can still do better if she challenges herself.
SOCIAL STUDIES
She scored 80% with an A grade placing 4th in terms of class position. There was not any outstanding progress in this subject in the previous term but with her commitment to improving her grades, she excelled in this subject.
ICT
She declined slightly in this subject in the previous term but she improved significantly in this term. She scored 76% with B3 grade and placed 10th . She should keep it up.
HISTORY
This is her strongest subject area and has maintained quiet good marks for the subject.She slightly declined in score in the term scoring 67% with C4 grade and placing 2nd . This is one of her elective subjects.
GEOGRAPHY
She had B2 grade with a score of 76% and placed 11th in this subject. She was committed to maintaining a 100% but she dropped quiet some marks in the subject.
ECONOMICS
Her marks keep on dropping. From 82% to 74% and now to 70% with B3 grade placing 13th . Reasons to the decline is unknown but she is keen to working extra hard to improve her score in this subject.
GENERAL PROGRESS
Generally, she performed averagely and her class did not perform well, she dropped in almost all her subjects but her class positions improved whiles her marks/scores were declining. She managed to improve immensely in Chemistry which she failed in the previous term. Mathematics and Social studies were her top core subjects for the term and chemistry and biology were her top elective subjects. She needs to pay a lot more attention in class and needs to sit up a lot more in her studies. There is a vacuum for improvement.

Name: Bushira Sumalia Class: JHS 3A Date 14/07/16
Bushira has completed Junior high school and here is her academic report for second term examinations conducted by Kumasi Education Metro Unit. She recorded an outstanding class attendance, she did miss school during the term and was always punctual. She is sociable, hardworking and well behaved. She is interested in athletics and won a boarding scholarship with Kumasi Anglican Senior High School.
ENGLISH
She scored 50%, 77% and 76% with grades 5, 2 and 2 respectively in the three examinations. She shown improvement in the examinations as compared to last term’s academic report. She loves to read and she did amazingly well when she read a story from another GEIG girl during GEIG and Worldreader’s partnership launch.
MATHEMATICS
She placed a lot of effort in improving in this subject area. She scored 35%, 73% and 75% with grades 9, 2 and 2 respectively in the three Mock examinations. She is seeking to doing more and improving in the subject area when she gets to senior high school.
SCIENCE
She scored 56%, 78% and 69% with grades 5,1 and 3 respectively in the three examinations. Her career path and her love for been a doctor drives her into putting in a lot more effort in this subject area. She dropped some marks in the first and third examinations and maintained the same score in the second examinations as last academic term.
SOCIAL STUDIES
She scored 64%, 75% and 80% with grades 4, 1 and 1 respectively in the three examinations. This subject is one of her strongest subject area and she is either topping her class or placing second.She improved immensely in the subject as compared to the previous academic term.
ICT
She glides over the usage of computers, ICT and its software. She shed some few marks as compared to last academic term. She scored 60%, 80% and 70% with grades 4, 1 and 2 respectively in three mock examinations. She hopes this prepareational examinations will reflect in her BECE results.
RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EDUCATION
She scored 60%, 81% and 75% with grades 4, 1 and 1 respectively in the three examinations.Generally, her performance in the subject has dropped as compared to her Junior High first year performance.
GHANAIAN LANGUAGE
Knowing she is Dagbani, it is mind blowing how she can read and write Twi swiftly. It is her second top score. Although there wasn’t consistency in her scores, her performance in the three examinations can’t be overlooked. She scored 67%, 82% and 63% with grades 3, 1 and 1 respectively. It is a commendable performance.
BASIC DESIGNING TECHNICS
She has been one of best student when it comes to BDT class. She studied Home Science in the previous academic term but her interest changed and she switched to BDT in this academic term.She scored 59%, 70% and 65% with grades 4, 2 and 3 respectively. She performed well in this subject but her performance in Home science was much better than now.
GENERAL PROGRESS
She generally had a good performance this academic term and given that she dropped in some subject areas like Economics, Geography and History which are her elective subjects, she equally improved in Elective Mathematics and Core mathematics. She is opening up and spreading her wings to occupying leadership positions in school. She is the House prefect for House Kamal and that is huge transformation. Hoping to see a lot more improved results in the next academic term.

Ernestina's Report

Name: Tawiah Ernestina Class: JHS 1A Date 18/07/17
She is in JHS 1 and here is an academic report based on her JHS 1 second term performance. She fairly good attendance 47 out of 66. She is respectful and calm. She likes playing netball.
ENGLISH
She came 14th out of 41 students in her class and in this subject with total score of 58%.She is too shy and not fluent in the language. Given this score she has very well and she can do much better if she opens up.
MATHEMATICS
She scored 53% and placed 4th out of 41 students in her class. Although, there is more room for improvement, knowing her background she has done immensely well.
SCIENCE
She had a total score of 50% and placed 7th out of 41 students in her class. Very encouraging but it is clear that her class is quite weak. There is room for improvement.
SOCIAL STUDIES
She scored 45% and placed 14th in the subject. Her class didn’t perform well given her marks and her class position. She needs to be challenged.
ICT
Her performance was very encouraging in this subject area with a score of 70% placing 12th. She has interest in the subject. This was her second top score and it is also clear that her class is quite competitive when it comes to studying the subject. She has started well and she can do much better.
RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EDUCATION
Fairly good performance and can do better. With a total score of 58% and placed 14th out of 41 students in her class.
GHANAIAN LANGUAGE
This was her highest score. Very encouraging performance knowing that she feels more comfortable communicating in this language. She placed 11th and scored 75% in the subject. More room for improvement.
BASIC DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY
She failed in this subject. She scored 34% but the good news is that she didn’t fail in class position, she placed 28th out of 41 students. It is her weakest subject and she needs to improve.
FRENCH
She scored 58% and placed 22 nd out of 41 students in her class. A competitive class when it comes to the subject. She needs to put in a lot more effort. She can do better than this performance.
GENERAL PROGRESS
Very impressive performance and it is clear that she is a smart student giving the right support, materials and commitment on her part to studying and learning. Her top subjects are Ghanaian language and ICT, and her weakest subject was BDT and Social studies. There is more room for improvement.

She has completed Junior high school and here is her academic report based on her JHS 3 second term performance. This analysis covers three examinations by the Kumasi Education Metro as part of preparations towards her Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE. She absented from school most of the time within the academic term. Her weak performance is attributed to her absenteeism’s from school. She is a very brilliant student and with the right parental guidance and utilising GEIG’s support, she will go places. She has a lot of potentials to do better.
ENGLISH
She was cautioned on her performance and thankfully there has been some improvement in her performance. She dropped some marks in the previous term but she has improved this time round. She scored 49%, 72% and 73% with grades 7, 2 2 respectively for the three examinations. Comparing this results to that of last academic term’s report, she has improved significantly. 
MATHEMATICS
She is weak in this subject but positively she has improved. She is on the right direction.Her effort in improving herself in the subject paid off well. She scored 22%, 65% and 59% with grades 9, 3 and 4 respectively in the three examinations.
SCIENCE
Her career path of being a journalist is diverse with regards to this subject area, regardless this, she does well in science and she improved in her marks this term with a score of 40%, 68% and 60% with grades 8. 3 and 4. She challenged herself quiet excessively to gain this performance.
SOCIAL STUDIES
She performed well in social studies this time round. She scored 69%, 65% and 70% with grades 3, 3 and 2 respectively in the three examinations. She improved in this subject as compared to the previous term.
ICT
She dropped marks in the subject as compared to last term. She scored 49%, 63% and 58% with grades 7, 4 and 5 respectively in the three examinations.

This was her best subject score in the previous academic term but that can’t be said now.She dropped significant marks. She scored 60%, 58% and 58 with grades 4, 5 and 5 respectively in the three examinations.

Undoubtedly, she is a good student with vast potential to attaining excellence in every academic field. Although she declined in some subjects she also improved in some subjects which is very impressive. She is endowed with the capacity to excel but she has not challenged herself enough to spring forth the best in her. She needs a lot more of guidance and counselling.

Harriet has completed basic education but here is an academic report based on her JHS 3 second term academic performance. She recorded an excellent attendance during the terms and was punctual always. This is academic report for the three examinations conducted by the Bosomtwe educational unit in the Ashanti region. Having been diagnosed with mild dyslexia by the Achimota Assessment Centre in Accra, she has transitioned and improved tremendously. She was the overall
best student in the second exanimation.
ENGLISH
Given that she is diagnosed with mild dyslexia, she struggles with reading and
pronouncing English words. She has shown a lot of progress in her English class and
she keeps on improving. Although she dropped in the subject as compared to last
academic term, she is still amongst the top students in her class. She scored 59% 60% and 64% with grades 5, 4 and 4. She had a total score of 183 in the three examinations.
MATHEMATICS
She scored 64%, 67% and 54% with grades 4, 4 and 6 and a total score of 185 in the three examinations. She dropped in this subject as compared to last terms academic report.
SCIENCE
She hopes to be a nurse in the note too distant future and she is taking the direction towards her career. She scored 60%, 78% and 48% with grades 5, 3 and 7. She had a total score of 186 in the three examinations. She dropped marks in these scores as compared to the previous academic performance.

Her strongest area of study for the three examination is social studies. She improved in this subject as compared to last term academic marks. She scored 58%, 82% and 64% with 5, 2 and 4 respectively in the three examinations. She had a total score of 204 in the three examinations.
ICT
She had grades 4, 2 and 6 with scores 69%, 82% and 51% respectively in the three examinations. She had a total score of 202 in the three subjects.
RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EDUCATION
She scored 70%, 74% and 78% with grades 3, 3 and 3 respectively in the three
examinations. This is one of her favourite subjects. She had a total score of 222 in the three examinations.
GHANAIAN LANGUAGE
The Ghanaian language taught in her school is Asante Twi. She speaks and writes very good Twi. She had grades 2, 3, and 3 with scores 80%, 79% and 77% respectively in the three examinations. She is certain that this score will also reflect in her BECE results.She had a total score of 236 in three examinations. This subject was her highest performed subject.
PRE-TECHNICAL SKILLS
She had grades 6, 5 and 3 with scores 51%, 55% and 78% respectively in the three examinations. She had a total score of 184 in the three examinations. This is also one of her favorite subjects. 
FRENCH
She does well in French too
she had grades 4, 3 and 4 with 69%, 76% and 65% in the three examinations. She had a total score of 210 in the three examinations.
GENERAL PROGRESS
She has come a long way and has crawled out from that shell of shyness and is showing a tremendous improvement and a lot of potentials. She has moved from an average student to a good student. Her recent participation in the Worldreader launch as MC attest to it. 

Barbara's Report

She is in SHS 2 and here is an academic report based on her SHS 2 second term performance. She recorded good attendance in this academic term. She is responsible in conduct and mixed easily with her peers. Her interest is in being of service to the sick. She is very active and a very good public speaker. She placed 40th in class position out of 66 students. she scored 58.14% as class average and 57.64% as student average.
ENGLISH
Comparing her performance to that of last term, her performance in this subject has dropped. She scored 57.5% with C5 grade and 22nd position in the subject. Her progress has been quite slow but certainly she will get there. Given this she is still a good public speaker.
CORE MATHEMATICS
Although, she dropped in the subject area as compared to last term and the previous year, this is her highest score. She scored 68.9% as B3 grade and placing 23rd there is still room for improvement.
ELECTIVE  MATHEMATICS
With D7 grade with a score of 45.6% she placed 45th in position. She dropped marks in this subject. She can do much better than this performance.
INTEGRATED SCIENCE
She has improved in this subject as compared to last term. She had a C5 grade, scoring 57.1% and placing 9th . This progress is a huge for her, knowing her background.
SOCIAL STUDIES
She declined slightly in this subject. She scored 64.7% with a B3 grade, placing 54th in position. There is room for improvement.
ICT
She dropped significant marks in this subject as compared to last term results. She scored 59.5% placing 57th with C4 grade in thee subject. 
BIOLOGY
Her marks in this subject area declined. She scored 53% with a C6 grade placing 55th in position. She needs to sit up and do better than this performance.
CHEMISTRY
This was her highest score amongst her elective subjects. She improved significantly in this subject. She failed in the previous term but she improved by scoring 61% with C4 grade and placing 20th position. Although she improved in the subject, there is still more room for improvement.
PHYSICS
She placed 42nd in class with a score of 51.5% which is C6 grade. She has improved immensely in this subject comparing her last term results but improvement in marks did not reflect in her class position. There is more room for improvement.
GENERAL PROGRESS

This is the academic terminal report of Regina based on her JHS 3 first term performance. She recorded good attendance during the term and was punctual always. She is an average student with a lot of potentials. She is humble and respectful.
ENGLISH
Regina has improved a lot when it comes to English Language and continues to improve as the weeks go by. She struggles a little when reading. She had grade 2 and was part of the first five in her class. She put in so much effort to learn every day. She had an average score of 75%
MATHEMATICS
 She was first in her class. She had an excellent score of 80%. Regina’s strongest subject area is Mathematics. She does well in calculations, pays close attention and makes great contributions in class.  There was an improvement in her scores this term and had grade two.
SCIENCE
She placed second in her class and had grade two. She ask brilliant questions, answers questions asked by the teacher and makes contribution in class. Her average score was 78%. She made massive progress in Science this term.
SOCIAL STUDIES
Regina was part of the first ten in her class. She had an average score of 66% in Social Studies. She contribute during lessons. She needs to improve a bit more in this subject.
ICT
Regina had grade two in this subject. Another subject area that Regina does so well with an average score of 76%. She was part of the first ten students in the class but there is still more room for improvement.
RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EDUCATION
She was first in her class, had grade one and with an average score of 81%.Her best grade for the term. She was excellent in this subject, which proves her interest in the subject.
GHANAIAN LANGUAGE
Regina had an average score of 66%. There was a progress this term but there is still room for improvement.
BASIC DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY
Her least grade was in Basic Design and Technology with an average score of 43%.
FRENCH
Regina is an average student when it comes to French. Her average score was 66%. She made a progress this term and was part of the first five in her class
GENERAL PROGRESS
Regina has improved a lot. She is building her self-confidence and there is more room for improvement. She enjoys reading and is very humble in all her endeavours. She can move from being a good student to an excellent good student.

Zakia has shown tremendous progress in the English Language though she is still working on sentence construction and tenses. She had grade 4 in English. She strives to improve every day and is eager to try answer questions in class even if she gets the answer wrong. She had an average score of 62%.
MATHEMATICS
Her favorite subject is Mathematics and she does not joke with figures as she wants to be a bank manageress in the future. Unfortunately, her grade dropped getting grade 9 in this academic term. Her drop in the subject is unfortunate but efforts will be made for her to improve. She scored an average of 33%.
SCIENCE
Zakia had an average score of 65% and placed 7th position. She is a promising student and given the right and needed support she can and will do better. She had grade 3 in Science.
SOCIAL STUDIES
Zakia performs better in Social Studies. She always wants to make contributions in class during lessons and had an average score of 72% which is grade 2.
ICT
She has dropped in ICT area. Her mark has decreased as compared to JHS 2 academic year. She had grade 5 and had an average score of 57%. Hoping to see more improvement from her in the subject area..

Although the subject is Zakia’s strongest area of study and has performed well, her marks dropped in Religious and Moral Education (R.M.E). She had grade 6 in the subject. She is very active in class and pays close attention to what is been taught. She had an average score of 50%
